BloX

BloX is an arcade style match three game that mimics the style of classic games like Klax.  Catch colored block on a paddle, and drop them onto a grid.  You can not stack more then three on the paddle at a time, or 5 in a row.  Miss three blocks and it's all over.  Watch out for the curve balls, and keep an eye out for bomb power-ups.

Candy Run Saga

Last week I participated in the CandyJam game jam.  The reason behind this game jam was to keep King from successfully gaining a registered trademark on "Candy" and "Saga" as independent words.  King's ability to successfully gain trademark of these words would prevent anyone from creating a game and using either of the words independently in the title.  The implications of this would be that other developers would have their creativity, and ability to produce games dampened.

Over the course of the week, I was able to successfully produce a fully working minimalist mini 2D platformer called Candy Run Saga.

Space Rocks

This is one of the first games that I created for a school project.

A remake of the classic "Astroids", that aims to change the way people attempt to play the game.
Most people have a tendency to spin in a circle and move very little when they play Astroids.  Space rocks forces the player to move, and requires the player pick up orbs left by the rocks getting destroyed.
